. . . our great customer service impressed this patient. . .
. . .her fear of the dentist is gone. . .
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me this week. After having horribly painful experiences with an incredibly condescending dental provider almost 6 years ago, I allowed several of my teeth to decay and even break, because that pain was less than what I was subjected to by my former dentist. Once, I was even refused a painkiller because "we're here to fix teeth, not create drug dependency." My jaw was so swollen from a wisdom tooth that I could not even use a straw, but [my former dentist] insisted on painfully shoving e-ray film in my mouth, causing excruciating pain and bleeding. And finally, he told me the only way I would get pain medication was if I allowed him to pull the tooth immediately. I was completely alone at this point in time--no friends or family in the office with me.
Last week, I discovered an abscess above one of my broken teeth, and when it hadn't gone away after several days, I knew it was time. I live in Clintonville, and had often seen your sign advertising "comfortable dentistry." I took a deep breath and stopped in.
Everyone, from the receptionist, to the hygienist to Dr. Hadi, was incredible. You arranged to see me immediately, listened with care to my concerns, did not berate me for neglecting my dental care, and helped me make peace with almost immediate extractions. The news that you would work to save the majority of my teeth that were in good condition was uplifting and reassuring.
And finally, the extractions: I'm not going to lie, the past 24 hours haven't been comfortable, but they were nothing like the pain I experienced at the hands of my former dentist. I was offered a hand to hold during my IV sedation, promised that work would stop if I felt any pain, and that things would be over "before I knew it." No one seemed bothered or perturbed by my ceaseless questions about the procedure, and even my finance said the staff was wonderful to him when he came to pick me up.
Dr. Kvitko, Dr. Hadi, and all staff: I just can't say thank you enough. In spite of being a bit bloody and swollen, my six year old fear of the dentist is gone, and I am actually eager to continue the process of getting back to completely healthy teeth and gums. THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Dear Dr. Kvitko,
I want to thank you and your wonderful staff for the terrific
care I have received. From the Brite-Smile, through fillings,
crowns and even a root canal, my experience has been thoroughly
pleasant! I appreciate your helpfulness in adjusting my temporaries
--- the discomfort was entirely eliminated. I can even say I
had fun during my root canal. Your staff is top notch. I also
appreciate their understanding of a veterinary emergency I had
which necessitated rescheduling my appointment on short notice.
I value your patience and kindness very much...as well as the
way you answer all my questions. I am glad I found your dental
practice!!

Dear Dr. Kvitko,
I am someone who had very bad experiences with dentists when
I was a child, and since then have avoided the dentist at all
costs. Of course the tooth problems never went away, only got
worse. When the tooth pain became too much to bear, I knew that
I had to face my fears and see a dentist again.
Being a "tech head" I turned to the internet, thinking
a dentist progressive enough to have a web presence would probably
have the most up-to-date procedures. This is how I found Dr.
Kvitko. I filled out an online dental and personal history, and
asked to be contacted. The very next day I received a friendly
call confirming my emergency appointment.
I was shaking in my shoes, but made it to Dr. "K's"
office and had my first meeting with the doc. Dr. K. always made
me feel completely at ease and explained that the field of Dentistry
has changed by light years since I had last seen one. He then
explained how he could work with me "PAINLESSLY" to
get back on the road to good dental health.
Knowing what was going to happen and that I should not expect
any pain eased my fears as the Doc and his staff went to work.
Well, it's been several months and many procedures later, and
I have to tell you that Dr. Kvitko was a Godsend. I still have
some deep seated fears, but it no longer prevents me from going
to see the dentist, and I'm well on my way to a healthy mouth
again. I've become so comfortable that we're even doing cosmetic
procedures now. i had Dr. K's "Bright Smile" in-office
teeth whitening done today, and all I can say is "WOW"!
The difference in my tooth color is absolutely incredible! They
told me I improved 8 shades. . . I say I can smile and show my
teeth again! They are as white as a newborn's! My wife says that
my face is going to set in a permanent smile because that's all
I do now! About one hour for the procedure. . . NO PAIN. . .
and PRESTO. . . white teeth! My friends ask what's changed, did
I lose weight or maybe get a new haircut?. . . I just smile and
say, "Just say Dr. K!"
The Doctor, and all his staff always make my wife and me feel
like part of the family. An sincere Thanks do Dr. Kvitko and
all his staff for being so kind and caring.
Thank You,
Bev and Rick Stull

Dear Dr. Kvitko,
Thank you for the excellent examination and treatment you performed
for me on July 24 and July 27, 2001. The procedure I underwent
was completely pain free, and I'm very happy with the results.
I also wish to compliment you on your pleasant and professional
staff. Good luck in your new offices and with your ice arena.
I look forward to seeing you again in January of next year.
Very truly yours,

Dr. Kvitko,
I wanted you to know how much I appreciated your kindness, professionalism
and unbelievable attention to my situation last week. I have
never been treated so kindly by any doctor of any kind. And for
me to say I actually like a dentist is truly monumental. You
are obviously a fine dentist and an even finer human being. It's
refreshing to know that some professionals actually care about
their patients above all else. I will never forget how you "saved"
me that weekend. I will continue to work with my insurance so
I can be a full time patient. You have certainly earned my trust.
Thanks again!
Sincerely,

Dear Dr. K.,
It's been 6 months since you made me my dentures--they work just
fine and I'm able to eat corn on the cob, carrots and apples.
I want to thank you again for all your generosity.

former hygienists. . .
A dental hygienist I know worked for Dr
Kvitko nearly twenty years ago. Over the years she has been employed
by many other dentists, but always said that Dr. Kvitko did the
best work. That's why I go to him now. I figure who knows a great
dentist better than a hygienist!

Dear Dr. Kvitko,
I just had another great bi-annual dental check-up today at Centerville
Family Dental, and wanted to write you a note of thanks for your
part in it. Although it has been close to 8 or 9 years since
I last visited your office for my dental care, the work that
you did over ten years ago has stood the test of time. As you
could see by reviewing my old chart, I had multiple amalgam fillings
done by you, and many other old ones revised. None of those fillings
has loosened since you put them in, nor have I lost any of them
during a meal--which I feel is a great credit to you and the
meticulous work that you did on my teeth. The bitewing films
done today were not showing any sign of new decay either!!
Having come here to the Dayton area in 1987 to attend medical
school at Wright State University, and having completed my residency
here at Miami Valley Hospital, the time has only reinforced to
me those who are dedicated to providing superior dental and medical
health care. You are one of those individuals. Presently I am
one of ten physicians in a large Family Practice group in Springboro,
Ohio, and as I look back on the road the brought me to this point,
I am grateful for those who have been a part of it. A person's
smile is one of his greatest assets, and this is certainly very
important for a physician. You have been the person who has been
instrumental in helping me to preserve that valuable asset.
Thanks for doing a great job those many years ago!! Like a
fine craftsman's handiwork, your work on my teeth continues to
endure the test of time.
Sincerely,
Kurt B. Avery, M.D.
