Your safety is one of our primary concerns.  We want your visit to our office to be safe and pleasant one. To that end, we wear masks, gloves, glasses and clinic gowns at all appropriate times.  We strictly observe all Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines as well as the guidelines of the Ohio State Dental Board.  All of our instruments are disinfected, cleaned and sterilized in the manner suggested by the American Dental Association.  We use disposable equipment, when possible. We sterilize our instruments with state-of-the-art equipment, which is monitored routinely by an independent third party to ensure that it is functioning properly. In the unlikely event of a power outage during a visit, we are equipped with on-site generators that will allow us to operate our dental equipment for several hours. In addition, we conform to the current American Dental Association recommendations regarding the quality of our water in our dental units. We carry out periodic microbiological monitoring, and the water in our dental units is within the proposed standards for clean water as defined by the American Dental Association. We flush our dental unit waterlines each morning and between patients as recommended by the American Dental Association. Finally, we disinfect every necessary surface in the treatment rooms after every patient.

We also want to make certain that you are comfortable each time you visit. In every case, whether routine appointment or involved procedure, it is our policy to make you feel as comfortable as possible.  We offer several methods of sedation in order to help you through any procedure that may require it, and we keep you informed throughout the process.  We also give you the option of listening to music through a head set or even offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
