Advances in technology over the past several years have made it easier for dentists to make aesthetic improvements to your smile. Combine these advances with the skill and artistry of Dr. Kvitko or one of his associates and we will give you a beautiful smile.
To find out how Dr. Kvitko can improve your smile, call our office to schedule a cosmetic consultation. A reservation deposit of $85 is required to schedule this appointment, and it will be applied toward any treatment you have performed in our office. At this consultation, we may request that impressions be taken of your teeth so that we may make diagnostic models of your smile. These models can later be used to make a mock-up of what your smile could look like after treatment.
Bonding
Bonding can restore teeth that are chipped, broken, discolored or cracked. A plastic resin is used to rebuild the tooth in a natural-looking way. Bonding on teeth will need to be touched up every three to five years, to correct any discoloration or wear .
Veneers
A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or plastic that is bonded to a tooth, generally covering only the front and biting surface of a tooth. Dentists use veneers to correct severe stains or discoloration, damage, misalignment or misshapen teeth. The final result is beautiful and natural-looking teeth.
Tooth Whitening
In addition to your teeth darkening as part of the natural aging process, certain minerals can also penetrate the outer enamel layer of your teeth. Various foods, beverages, tobacco products, and even some medications will stain your teeth. The degree of whiteness will vary from patient to patient, so consult our office to see if you are a good candidate for whitening.
Home Whitening
We can prescribe a home whitening system consisting of personalized whitening trays that tightly fit your teeth and a specially formulated whitening gel. This gel gently forces oxygen through the enamel of your teeth, safely removing these stains while giving you a whiter, brighter smile.
Britesmile
Because most of us like immediate results, Britesmile is another bleaching method which has become a very popular bleaching option. This whitening procedure is performed in our office, using a patented soft blue light, not a laser, to whiten your teeth. It has been clinically proven safe on your teeth an even improves the health of your gums. To learn more about Britesmile, visit their website at www.britesmilewhitening.com .
